The Chief Minister of Maharashtra recently announced that the government would be constructing the Mumbai-Sindhudurg Expressway in similar to the Samruddhi Expressway project. Therefore, the new thoroughfare would be developed in line with the previous project. This project is likely to be developed soon, and will give a boost to the real estate infrastructure in the area. The development of the real estate sector in India largely depends on the availability of proper transportation systems. With this new road on the pipeline of infrastructure development, property prices in the locality would be escalating soon.

The Chief Minister was addressing an event of Shasan Aaplya Dari, which means ‘government at your doorstep’. In Maharashtra, this was the fourth such program, being organized at Savantwadi. This is a part of the Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra. The Chief Minister stated that constructing the new expressway will be on the lines of the existing Nagpur-Mumbai expressway. This will bring about a rapid transformation in the transit infrastructure in the Konkan area. The CM, while focussing on the achievements of the government in different sectors, said that the authorities would be allocating a sum of INR 110 crore. This amount would be used for different development projects in the Savantwadi region.

The CM also expressed his thanks to the Prime Minister of India for approving the proposals of his government and releasing the necessary funds. Besides, he declared that they would be naming the Chipri Airport after Barrister Nath Pai as a sign of tribute to him. This development comes at a time when the real estate industry in Maharashtra is growing at a rapid pace. With this new infrastructure project, it would be easy for the residents to commute to other parts of the city. Naturally, property demand would be escalating in this locality.
